These general terms and conditions come into effect when a reservation is made.

1.Bed & Breakfast Les jardins de jeanne

These websites have been compiled with the greatest care, but there may be differences between the text and/or photos presented on the website and the current situation at Bed & Breakfast Les jardins de jeanne at the time of the visit by our guests.
No rights can be derived by the guests from such differences.

1.2
All rooms are suitable for two people.
Extra folding bed can be booked if necessary.
However, the mattress of the folding bed is not of the same quality as the mattresses of our fixed beds.
Pets are welcome but only on request and at an additional cost.
1.3
On the day of arrival, your room will be available for you from 3 p.m. and you can visit us until 7 p.m.
The agreed arrival times are target times, but if you arrive much later or earlier,
then you run the risk that no one from the Bed & Breakfast is present.
However, we can ensure that you can enter at any time.
If you cannot be present at the specified time, please let us know as soon as possible.
Deviating times are only possible in consultation.
In order to clean the rooms, you must vacate them before 11 a.m. on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed.
1.4
Breakfast is served between 8:30 AM and 10 AM in our dining room.
In good weather there is the opportunity to have breakfast outside in the garden.
Deviating times for breakfast are only negotiable in consultation with us.
If you have special wishes for breakfast, gluten-free, low-salt, vegetarian, etc., please indicate this when you make the reservation with us. We do charge an extra surcharge per person for this, depending on your wishes.
It is not possible to reserve this afterwards.
1.5
The rooms Jane, Serge & Brigitte at B&B Les jardins de jeanne both have a private bathroom with shower/bath, washbasin with hot & cold running water. Serge & Jane share a communal toilet. All rooms include use of linen, care products, coffee, tea & water

1.6
The car can be parked on site, parking is at your own risk.

1.7
The manager will inform you which rooms at Bed and Breakfast De Tijd are available and usable for you.
The private areas may not be entered by guests in the farm.
The outside area also has partitions for common and private use, it is very much appreciated not to enter the private areas.

2. Prices.
2.1
The prices of the rooms are described on our website: www.lesjardinsdejeanne.com
Prices do not include an extensive breakfast,
Prices include use of towels and bed linen, water and electricity, tourist tax and final cleaning.

2.2
The prices do not include the costs of cancellation and/or travel insurance and/or other costs.
​
2.3
Prices of Bed & Breakfast Les jardins de jeanne are always without obligation and are subject to interim changes.

2.4
Day rooms or room rental for a few hours apply In terms of price / payment / cancellation / reservation - check in and / or check out
different conditions. Then inquire with your hostess.

2.5
All entries on our websites are deemed to have been provided in good faith and are always subject to interim adjustments.
Bed & Breakfast De Tijd is not bound by obvious errors on its websites.
3. Reservation and payment.
3.1
Reservations are made by e-mail at info@lesjardinsdejeanne.com or via website www.lesjardinsdjeanne.com

3.2
After a reservation request has been made, you will receive a message from us as soon as possible with the relevant information and whether the desired room is still available for you.
You must check and confirm this information within 48 hours by sending an email back to info@lesjardinsdejeanne.com or confirming otherwise in writing.
By confirming the reservation request, the booking is only final.
If we have not received a confirmation from you after 48 hours, the reservation request will be canceled immediately. This is to avoid disappointment for our other guests.

3.3
You must pay in advance via the bank app on the website www.lesjardinsdejeanne.com or enter credit details.
When assigning credit details, payment must be made in cash at the time of your stay.
For short-term reservations, the amount must be paid in cash on arrival.
In the unlikely event that nothing has been received after the agreed term, the reservation made will be canceled immediately.
You will receive a confirmation of cancellation from B&B Les jardins de jeanne.

3.4
Gift cards
Gift vouchers must be redeemed within 1 year of the invoice date or set a pre-planned date within the year of the invoice date.
The gift vouchers can be transferred to a third party.
The cancellation conditions apply to gift vouchers and no-show or cancellation.

4. Cancellation Policy.
4.1
When a definitive reservation for the Bed & Breakfast has been made and confirmed, the following applies to cancellation of that reservation:

Between 7 and 0 day(s) before arrival: 100%

Between 21 and 8 Days before arrival: 50 %
-
More than 3 weeks before arrival: 25,00 EUR​
In order to be eligible for a refund of the paid amount, you must notify us of the cancellation as soon as possible by e-mail or telephone.
After consultation, the agreed amount will be transferred to you as soon as possible, but at the latest within 21 days.
There will be no refunds in the event of early departure, cancellation costs will also be owed if you do not show up. (no show)
Everything can also be discussed with the hostess.

4.2
Bed & Breakfast Les jardins de jeanne can only cancel the reservation agreement in the following cases: in case of force majeure, natural disaster, extraordinary weather conditions, fire, death of the owners or family, hospitalization or unannounced sale.
In one of these cases, the owner will provide the guest with an alternative offer as soon as possible.
If this is not possible or if the guest does not accept the alternative offered, the full amount will be refunded.
Any other damage resulting from the cancellation will not be reimbursed by the owner.
5. Complaints.
5.1
We try to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Despite our good care, it is still possible that you have a complaint or comment.
In order to be able to solve this properly, we ask you to inform us as soon as possible on site, by e-mail or telephone.
6. Liability.
6.1
Bed & Breakfast Les jardins de jeanne cannot be held liable for damage suffered by the guest or third parties as a result of staying in the room in question, the guest indemnifies Bed & Breakfast Les jardins de jeanne against claims in this regard.
Bed and Breakfast Les jardins de jeanne is not liable for malfunctions in and around the accommodation, such as disruptions and failure of power, WiFi, water supplies and technical installations, as well as construction and/or road works that have not been announced or are untimely announced in the vicinity of Bed & Breakfast Les jardins the jeanne

6.2
Bed & Breakfast Les jardins de jeanne accepts no liability for loss, theft, damage or accidents caused to persons and/or goods during or as a result of staying in the relevant room(s) of Bed and Breakfast Les jardins de jeanne

6.3
The main guest named in the booking confirmation is responsible for an orderly course of affairs in and around the room(s) concerned.
The belongings must be handled with care, the room must therefore be left tidy and decent.
This also applies to the use of items in the Bed and Breakfast such as and use of the bar in the garden.
Breakage or damage must therefore be reported immediately to the owner by the guest.
Any repair and/or replacement costs must be immediately reimbursed by the guest to the owner at his first request.
If, after checking out, it turns out that items have been left broken and this has not been reported to the owner, the invoice for the repair and/or replacement costs incurred will still follow.

7. Safety.
7.1
In connection with your own safety and that of the Bed and Breakfast, it is forbidden to smoke or use open fire in the rooms.
This is only allowed in the garden around the Bed and Breakfast and in the indoor and outdoor areas.
The misuse of fire/extinguishing agents or disabling the smoke detector is not permitted.

7.2
Other facilities in the yard should be used with care and in accordance with the intended use by the guests.
The safety of any small child must be guaranteed by the parents or supervisors.
Think of the trampoline, pets, locks, cars, tractors, shovel, lawn mower, horses with wagons - surrounding highways, bicycle paths, etcetera.

7.3
It is not allowed to feed the animals in the yard without consultation

8. Final provision.
8.1
Insofar as not provided otherwise in the rules of private international law, these terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law. Non-Belgian guests are deemed to agree with the general terms and conditions.

8.2
All disputes arising from the user agreement or these terms and conditions will be settled in the first instance by the competent court in Belgium. insofar as the rules of private international law do not provide otherwise.
​
8.3
None of the parties can transfer its rights and obligations to third parties unless otherwise provided in these terms and conditions.

8.4
If and insofar as any provision in the user agreement and these terms and conditions should prove to be invalid, the other terms and conditions will remain in force and the invalid article will be deemed to have been converted in such a way that it is brought in accordance with the apparent intentions of the parties.
